They didn’t come after me as expected, but there’s still quite a good number of hours that I’ll be staying up. I’m sure they’re waiting, watching me from the nooks and crannies of my bedroom. Waiting for me to be vulnerable, and then they’ll…

There’s always the usual ups and downs. Every year. Generally it starts immediately with a down. It’s funny, because it ends with an up. I’m already sensing that down coming.
It’ll be a cold and potentially depressing January and February. March will be a bit warmer, things will get happier. The nice spring will pass by quickly, and summer will be quiet and uneventful....
I wish I was out right now...
Doing crazy things, enjoying a wild and spontaneous new years. Starting out 2011 differently.
Instead, I’m home for New Years as I have been for the past something-something years. It’s not that I mind the peaceful start, but this year has to be different.
